The Danish Cancer Society hosts an annual cancer symposium covering topics within experimental, clinical or epidemiological cancer research. Deadline for submission of proposals for the 2017 Symposium is Monday, 4 April 2016.
The symposium runs for 2½ days (Monday to Wednesday) consisting of 5 sessions where international leading researchers present the latest development within their field. Poster sessions with presentations by the participants are also held. A maximum of 15-20 speakers can be invited. In addition to the invited speakers, the symposium is open for up to 40 participants from the Danish research environment with special focus on PhD students. The organisers will select the participants based on the submitted applications.
The symposium takes place at the Danish Cancer Society and all costs in connection with the symposium are covered by the Society. The symposium secretariat will provide practical and administrative support/assistance before, during and after the symposium. The organisers are solely responsible for preparing the scientific programme and ensuring that potential participants apply for participation in the symposium.

Proposals should be submitted no later than Monday, 4 April 2016 to the Danish Cancer Society Symposium and Junior Researcher Award Committee at symposium@cancer.dk.
The successful organisers will be notified in the middle of April 2016.
