Poster presentation

All PhD students are requested to present one poster at the poster session. Other participants are also welcome to present a poster. Posters from previous conferences/seminars etc. are allowed.

Participants are asked to set up their poster in connection with registration on Monday, 7 November between 8.15 and 9.00 am.

Each poster will be allocated one side of a poster board. Push pins for mounting your poster will be provided.

The posters will be displayed in the conference room for the duration of the symposium.

The poster sessions will be held as a guided poster walk on the following days:

• Monday, 7 November from 15.00 - 16.00
• Tuesday, 8 November from 11.00 - 12.00

A committee consisting of 2-3 of the invited speakers will evaluate the posters, and three prizes will be awarded at the dinner on Tuesday evening.

On Wednesday morning each poster prize winner will be asked to give a short presentation (max. 5 minutes) of their poster followed by feedback from the participants and speakers.

Poster guidelines

The dimensions of your poster must not exceed 120 cm (height) x 85 cm (width).

However, if your poster exceeds the specified dimensions, please contact the Symposium Secretariat asap so we can make the appropriate arrangements.

You are encouraged to bring handouts of your poster (A4 format) to be distributed at the poster session.
