Registry Core Function

The Registry Core Function at the Danish Cancer Society is placed within the SBR Unit. The function maintains, in collaboration with the central health authorities, the National Institute for Health Data and Disease Control, and the Prevention and Documentation Unit at the Danish Cancer Society, the validation and development of the Danish Cancer Registry. Furthermore, the Registry Core Function is responsible for maintaining the extensive database on socioeconomic positions of the Danish population located at Statistics Denmark. The Registry Core Function offers support to all researchers at the Danish Cancer Society on the use of Danish registries.
